Vår tid i Los Angeles tog slut och Ubern vi beställt körde ner oss till Chinatown. Vi skulle nämligen på en 4-dagars tour för att se Grand Canyon, Antilope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell och Vegas. Dag ett bestod bara av resan mellan LA till Vegas och valfri aktivitet på där under dagen. Ungefär halvvägs till Las Vegas gick vår buss sönder på en rastplats i öknen. Vi väntade i tre timmar på nästa, turligt nog inomhus där vi kunde köpa lunch och inte gå under i de 50°C som rådde utomhus.

 

Väl i Vegas ställde vi väskorna på hotellet och utforskade the Strip (huvudgatan med casinon), puckat nog i jeans då vi inte orkade byta om. Det kändes som vi skulle brinna upp från insidan ut. För att undkomma hettan gick vi in i olika casinon och möttes av hela galna takmålningar (hehe skrev först takmolningar). Vid 18-tiden mötte vi upp resten av vår tour-grupp och fick våra rum på Harrah's. Trötta som fasen gick vi och lade oss för att orka upp nästa dag vid fem igen.

 

Our time in Los Angeles ended and we took an Uber to Chinatown really early in the morning. We were joining a 4-day tour to see Grand Canyon, Antilope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell and Vegas. Day one just consisted of the trip between LA and Vegas; the day in Vegas was spent however we wanted. About halfway there our bus broke at a pitstop in the desert. We waited about three hours for the new one, luckily inside where we could buy lunch and not die in the 50°C outside.

 

In Vegas we dropped off our bags at the hotel and checked out the Strip, stupidly wearing jeans as we were too lazy to get changed. It felt like we were burning from the inside out. To get away from the burning feeling we took refuge in the casinos and discovered the incredible painted ceilings. At about 6pm we met the rest of our tour group and were assigned our rooms at Harrah's. Tired as anything we went to bed to get up again at five the next day.
